World Senior Citizens’ Day

Every year on 21 August, World Senior Citizens’ Day is observed annually to recognize the contribution of elders towards society and its people. The day is dedicated to increasing awareness about issues like elder abuse and age deterioration that affect elderly people. At our old age home, we celebrated World Senior Citizens day and Mrs. Vijaylaxmi project Director distributed the sweets to all.

Birthday Celebration

MLA Mr. Basavaraj Mathimud Rural celebrated his birthday with his supporters at the Margadarshi Charitable Trust’s Nemmadi Hiriyara Mane.

Eye operation

With the support of the Government District Hospital, we have taken significant steps in providing eye care. Four individuals underwent eye surgery, including two who were previously blind. Thanks to Dr. Rudrawadi and the entire team of government doctors and staff, they are now able to see.

Jai Chief Superdent of Police have celebrated his Birthday

Jai Chief Superintendent of Police, Dr. P. Ranganath, celebrated his birthday at our Margadarshi Charitable Trust’s Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane, along with his mother, brother, and family.

Doctors day

On 1st January 2024, coinciding with Doctors’ Day, the District Doctors Union visited our Margadarshi Charitable Trust’s Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane to celebrate the New Year 2024 and honor Doctors’ Day. A health check-up camp was also conducted for the beneficiaries.

ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿ ಎಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 27/01/2025ರ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ 6:00ಗೆ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಕಲಂ ಎಂದೆ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಡಾ. ಅಶೋಕ ಕಾಳೆ ಅವರ ಮಗ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಜಯ್ ಕಾಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮುತ್ತುರಾಜ್ & ಆದಿತ್ಯ ಕಾಳೆ ಇವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನಗಳು ಇದೇ ಜನವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿಯ ನಗರದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮನೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಜೀವಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ಕುಶಲತೆಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಆಸೆಯಂತೆ ಫೋಟೋ ತೆಗೆಸಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ

Republic Day 2025 Celebrations

ಇಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 26 ಜನವರಿ 2025 ರಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮನೆ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು 76ನೆಯ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು ಇಂದಿನ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮಾನ್ ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಬಾಟಿ ಬಾಲಾಜಿ ಸ್ವೀಟ್ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಅವರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಶೋಧರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕೆಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬಸಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಈ ಒಂದು ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು

We are conducting health check up camp in Nemmadi Hiriyar mane every second week of the month. Dr. Nagaya Shetti and Dr. Abresh Shetti Brothers visiting the old age home and do the free health check up and give the medicine too.

Independence Day Celebration

On 15th August 2020, we celebrated Independence Day at Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Old Age Home. The program was graced by Mr. Sandyaraj Samuel, President of the Rotary Club, as the Chief Guest, who hoisted the national flag for the first time at the old age home and expressed his happiness in being part of the celebration. Mr. Basvantappa Jamadar spoke on the significance of Independence Day, and our Project Director, Smt. Vijayalaxmi, facilitated the event.

Celebration of Environmental Day

We planted 50 trees on the Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane campus to honor and protect nature. Mr. Yada Martin participated in the tree-planting activity. In observance of Environmental Day, we planted a variety of trees, including 10 mango trees, 10 custard apple trees, 10 peril fruit trees, 10 shade trees, 5 lemon trees, 1 aam tree, 1 jackfruit tree, and 3 other trees, reflecting our commitment to a greener and healthier environment.

Eye check up camp

District health and family welfare department of Kalaburgi ,Margadarshi Charitable Trust, Rotary Club of Gulbarga, Anugrha Eye Hospital, Boruka Nethralya and Margadarshi Society jointly organized Eye camp on 8/2/2020 morning 9.30 to 4.00 PM.This programme inaugurated by Dr. Rajkumar district Leprosy and Affeem control officer kalaburgi and he has donated Rs. 10.000/- to the Nemmad Hyriyara Mane old age home. Rotary club President Mr. Sandyaraj Samuael Margadarshi Society Director Mr. Anandraj Dr. Nuthan and Dr. Veresh checkuped 43 patients and 11 person for eligible for the Eye operation and took them to the Boruka hospital and operated successfully on 10-02-2020 this programme conducted by Smt. Vijaylaxmi Project Director Margadarshi charitable Trust Kalaburgi.

Inauguration of Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane

The Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Old Age Home was inaugurated on 11-12-2019 by Eda Martin, Superintendent of Police, Kalaburagi District, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Kalaburagi. The program was a great success, marking a significant step toward the betterment of society. Every initiative undertaken by the Trust for social development is aimed at reaching and benefiting the community.
